GT2 - BEGINNER

The GT2 will fulfil pilots looking for simplicity, safety and enjoyment. It’s also a perfect tool to learn to fly. hundreds of students have learnt on the GT2.

Large brake travel, pitch stable, direct handling, enough performant make it a great machine to access, and get experience in flight.

Performance wise, it’s of course a not racing glider, but it will allow you to take your first thermal and move around your spot and even further. It’s offering enough performance to start your first cross country safely. Safety wise, there is nothing more to prove, it features several of our invisible technologies such as high-pressure airfoil, our special skin tensions to prevent collapse propagation, extreme pitch stability, huge brake travel and a lot more!

For pilots looking for a simple and versatile glider, the GT2 will give all you need. From soaring to hike and fly or simply sled down, you will always have a smile on your face.

For beginner pilots or pilots wanting to focus on thermaling, we recommend staying in the low/mid part of the weight range.

Thanks to its simple construction, it’s light but still very durable. Hike and fly is definitely an option with it!

If you look for more action, or flying in windier days, you can load it more. The glider will then become more dynamic but still very forgiving! In any case, the glider pull on windy takeoff is always very limited!

The Gracchio range is entering its third evolution!

Forgiving, Super Fun, incredibly performant for its aspect ratio, the Gracchio Mk3 is the direct Revolution of its predecessor. An identical concept pushed to what the actual technologies allow us to! A super toy to progress with a lot of fun and safety!

Designing an accessible glider, fun to fly, safe to progress and performant enough to keep up pilot motivation is a challenge!

The Gracchio Mk3 will be your best partner for an happy progression! We kept the Aspect ratio identical to the previous version with 5.3 and the cell counts at 49 cells, for a perfect accessibility and compacity! Thanks to its very original airfoil, the Gracchio Mk3 will provide an incredible glide feeling combined with very high stability: It cut through the air like no other B glider on the market! Skin tensions have been rebalanced to offer a smoother ride! Lines remain sheathed except on the uppers.

The Gracchio Mk3 is dedicated to pilot in progression. Its multiple size range allows the pilots to choose the best wingload according to their experience, their site, their preference.Within the low half, it’ll be more adapted to low experience pilots or pilots looking for a maximum float to fly in weak conditions.On the superior half, the more experienced pilots will love its dynamic.In both cases, no pilot will feel a lack of speed/wind penetration or handling, the “SuperGlide” feeling will remain incredible!The MK3 will be the perfect upgrade for the Mk2 pilots who are searching for more performance without being ready or don’t want to move up category!This would be “EN B pilots” in terms of piloting demandness (according to the EN B Class pilot requirement definition).

After 6 years of existence, the Urubu Legacy is moving onto a new era with the Mk2 version: A real LittleCloud glider benefiting of our latest modern technologies!

Design: An Evolution with R!

Renewing such a nice glider wasn’t an easy task!The challenge was high: how to propose an improved performance and keeping the proven qualities of the original Urubu? The Urubu is our favourite R&D class, it therefore benefits from all our acknowledge and experience. The uncountable testing hours made sure the Mk2 matches our expectations and were just giving us a good excuse to play in the sky! The result is an absolutely joy! We kept the same base for this Evolution. 57 cells construction is the best compromise we find between, performance, weight/compacity, safety and LittleCloudness! The Aspect Ratio remains identical with 6.15: this helps keeping a good accessibility and a genuine LittleCloud handling, the performance enhancement has been achieved with other ways.Smart design- no unneeded features, simplicity at its apex!

Enhancing the performance is one thing, keeping the “LittleCloudness” is a priority.

The handling of the Urubu Mk2 is simply incredible, sharp, precise, playful! This is a very important feature for us as turning is part of the game! Better enjoy that part!The Glider is superbly balanced, reacting instantly to  the pilot order inspiring for improving.

The Pitch stability is of course here, like no other brand has been able to reach until now:    – easy take off even in strong wind    –  easier and more relax to fly in active air    – less flying incident’s consequences    – improved efficiency in mushy air. Comfort in turbulence is pretty high, but as always, we kept a talky glider to allow the pilot to fully understand the air he’s flying in! A very important safety feature!Which also helps in light condition to better snif lifting air! Large brake travel before stall for more forgiving over piloting!

The Urubu Mk2 is aimed at pilots looking for a performant, light weight and versatile glider.For cross country and hike and fly use:the pilot should be able to deal with flying situations, making a proper analysis of the conditions, having good ground handling skills.This would be “EN C pilots” in terms of piloting demandness (according to the EN C Class pilot requirement definition).For Soaring use :the pilot should be able to control his glider in any wind conditions, being aware of the brake travel, being able to control de dynamic movements whilst wingover, sharp turns.

BIDULE
